Promotion of Eco-Industrial Parks in Jordan – Technical Support for EIP Implementation in Jordan Delivered by Resource Efficiency and Green Industry Experts

The project aims to improve sustainability performance of Jordan’s industrial estates by applying the international UNIDO EIP framework across four sequential work packages, supporting both implementation and long-term institutional integration in Jordan.

The scope of work includes

• Conduct baseline assessment of industrial estates
• Review policy and regulatory frameworks
• Assess environmental, social, and resource management practices
• Conduct EIP workshops and gap identification
• Develop shortlisting criteria and manage tendering
• Facilitate connections between non-selected estates and green BDS providers
• Develop roadmaps and feasibility studies for selected estates
• Liaise with investors and industrial estates
• Assess Zarqa industrial estate and develop EIP roadmap
• Provide implementation support
