The project has three components; (i) market access enhancement for small-holder farmers; (ii) strengthening institutional support, and (iii) innovation for productivity and sustainability. The work package falls within the first component.
The work package “aims at promoting sustainable entrepreneurship in agriculture, improve the agribusiness and supports the growth of competitive agro-processing enterprises by advancing innovation in products, processes, and business models. The program’s mission is to create jobs, increase competitiveness, and promote sustainable and inclusive growth through the acceleration of innovative enterprises and introduce new opportunities of business for the Minya rural communities’ youth and women. Furthermore, the program aims to provide market information and linkages, access to financing, and business, technical and vocational training, and facilities linkages”.
